The Dog is back! While his new album (and highly anticipated) is yet to drop, DMXBy releasing a preview of the future, he is offering his fans a taste. “The Weigh In,” — a free EP online download.

In 1998, the rapper was the first to hit the hip hop scene. He released two new, innovative albums. “It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot,”And “Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood.”

However, over the years, the New York-born rapper has spent more time in jail and has had to deal with drug addictions than he has been on stage or in a recording studio.

It seems that Dog is more interested than his legal problems and may be on his way to redemption. MTV News reported that the Dog said it was time to be professional in order to save his career.

“It’s a good thing,”In the interview, X stated. “I wish it was always like that, but you can’t really worry about what people think, what they say … the focus is on taking the music seriously, as a job, [and] less trouble.”

He is referring to the merry-go round of facilities that he has been a guest at since 2000. This includes a recent arrest for speeding and driving on a suspended license. He was also arrested in Arizona for violating his probation in November 2010.

X stated that his new EP was an excellent example of what he means by “anonymous”. “appetizer”For fans and as a prelude to The “main course,”That being said, his latest album. “Undisputed,”Released Sept. 11, 2012.

As if the fans didn’t need any encouragement to get the EP, Tyrese as well as Snoop Dogg are featured on the new release.

It remains to be determined if this is a spin on X’s part or a genuine desire to stay on the straight and narrow. But one thing is certain: X’s fans will forgive him for who he really is.
