Chicago has been a city that thrives off music since its inception. Chicago is the birthplace for all things music. Many people would agree with this statement, including jazz icons Benny Goodman and Nat King Cole.
Now, it’s today and the city’s house music has influenced other clubs to create their own sounds like Baltimore bass, Philly Hollertronix and, more recently, dubstep. This niche is home to some of the most influential musical talents today.
However, behind the music are producers like DJ LadeThey are the ones who create and cultivate these unique sounds. Lade recently signed with Big Jake Music New York, and is now providing the soundtrack for New York City’s most popular nightclubs with cutting-edge electronic dance music.
It’s not surprising to anyone who knows Lade because music has been an integral part of his life.
This is an example: At the age of 10, he formed his first band, playing drums and writing lyrics alongside school friends. The band quickly began recording music, performing in bars with people twice their age and three times their size, and soon found success at the local level.
Lade, in his twenties, had built a home studio, started writing music, and recording. Lade went on a trip to Europe after the band broke up and continued to explore European dance music while still retaining his love for rock and rolling.
Lade started producing dance music and began DJing to feed his creative side.

Lade is known for being one of few DJs in New York City who uses a more traditional style of music and does not use any software. He has plans to expand his reach to other cities.
