Sometimes, the greatest stories of triumph take a different course. This is what happened with DMX. The multi-platinum rapper and Ruff Ryders legend, who was released from Arizona state prison in July 2011, eagerly set his sights on finishing his latest album, due to be released in 2012.
Earl Simmons, a 40-year-old rapper, was released from jail in the first act. Called his wife to make sure he was able to see his children and family as soon as possible. Later that night, DMX returned to the studio.
DMX was held for nearly a year due to probation violations. However, he apparently never stopped thinking of the projects still waiting for his attention.
“DMX is the original real deal,”David Michery, Chief Executive Officer of Seven Arts Music, stated this recently. “We just finished shooting his video in Los Angeles, and his
latest single is picking up strong radio play. Between his new album, VHI Show and upcoming appearances, DMX is the comeback king.”
The new album from DMX “Undisputed,”The album features artists such as rap’s verbal Road Runner Busta Rhymes. It also features the multi-talented Tyrese. And Jennifer Hudson, a dream-girl. Fans will be able to view the singles on the long-awaited CD. “Already,” “Keep Ya Head Up”And “I Don’t Dance,”These will be released before the album.
