The Century Council, a non-profit organization fighting drunk driving and underage drink, conducted a survey and found that 65 per cent of children said they had received alcohol from friends and family.

The Century Council offers a variety of programs for parents of high-school students, including “Girl Talk: Choices and Consequences of Underage Drinking” “Brandon Tells His Story.”Many parents find it uncomfortable to discuss alcohol with their children.
