Moms love to be active and get fresh air and open space. Moms are the best at multitasking.
Mary Beth Knight, StrollerFit’s fitness expert and super mom encourages moms go to the park to exercise and play with their babies. Here are some tips to help you get started.
* Exercise together. Your lower body can be toned by standing in front your stroller and facing your child. Slowly squat while singing a verse of your child’s favorite song. Continue this exercise three to five times more.
To support your arms, take a seat at the bench’s edge and face your stroller. Your palms should be next to your legs, with your fingers in front. Wrap your arms under the bench’s front edge. Your hips should be lifted and your elbows bent to bring you closer to the ground. Repeat the process five to ten times more.
Sit down with your knees bent, your feet on the floor, and your baby belly gone. Place your baby on your stomach and gently lean forward until you feel the heat. You can continue singing to your child while you sing another verse. Continue to sing the same verses three times.
Although outdoor exercise is wonderful, it’s important that you remember these things to ensure your baby’s health.
* Prepare for the outdoors. The sun’s harmful effects can last all year. Sunblock is essential for both you and your baby’s protection. Sunblock should have at least 45 SPF and natural ingredients that don’t irritate baby’s delicate and sensitive skin. Before applying sunscreen to your baby, make sure you consult your doctor if your baby is under six months. You should make sure your baby is covered with protective clothing.
* When your baby becomes hot and sticky outdoors, so does his diaper, which can result in diaper rash. Make sure your baby feels comfortable on your trip to the park. Avoid irritation by using frequent diaper changes. You can also use natural ingredients such as Aveeno Soothing Diaper Rash Cream (Willowherb, Oatmeal, Zinc Oxide) to soothe redness and irritation.
