()Halloween has been deemed America’s most beloved holiday. Orlando, Halloween Vacation Capital offers Halloween events that span 78 days.

Beginning as early as August 17th and continuing through November 3, there are plenty of activities for everyone, from mild and family-friendly all the way to wild and scary.

This year’s line-up includes All-Hallows attractions, themed hotel packages, and the return of the nation’s largest horror convention.

Theme Park Frights

Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights this year will pay tribute to the ’80s, featuring a haunted house inspired by Netflix. “Stranger Things,”There are also nine other haunted homes, making it a total of 10. This is the highest number in the event’s history of 28 years.

Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom Park offers a family-friendly experience with jack-o-lanterns, special characters and a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Visitors can trick-or-treat all over the park, play with costumes at the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade or sing along at Hocus Pocus Villein Spelltacular to end the night. “Boo-tacular”Fireworks show.

SeaWorld Orlando’s Halloween Spooktacular is packed with Halloween fun.

Families are immersed in an underwater world during this daytime event “fantasea”Trick-or-treating, live shows that are not so scary, and the opportunity to mix with your Sesame Street friends Elmo, Cookie Monster, and The Count.

Boo Beyond the Parks

Spooky Empire is back in Orlando, Oct 26-29, at the Caribe Royale Orlando. Gillian Anderson (X-files) and David Duchovny, among others, are the celebrities this year.

You can also enjoy other thrills like a costume contest, a zombie walk, or a film festival.

Two outdoor scare trails allow small groups to explore a haunted forest at night. The unique areas are populated with live actors that will stalk you through the darkness. It’s a chilling, thrilling experience. This event is only available on select nights from Oct. 5 through Nov. 3.
