Be mine. Kiss Me. I’m Yours. Sometimes, a simple message is the best way for you to express your love to someone. Firestone Complete Auto Care recommends sharing these messages with your loved ones, especially Valentine’s Day.

Be proactive. When it comes to personal safety and vehicle maintenance, it is important to be proactive. It is important to service your vehicle and have the oil changed according to the recommended maintenance schedule of your vehicle manufacturer. Make sure you have the following items in your car for winter: an ice scraper, flashlight and blanket.

– Tire Pressure. Your tire pressure should be checked every week. The temperature outside drops and the air inside the tire contracts, causing a decrease in tire pressure. For every 10 degrees drop in temperature, a tire’s PSI (pound per sq inch) can drop 1 pound.

– Fill up. It is important to always keep your gas tank at half capacity in cold weather. Additional gasoline will keep moisture from freezing the fuel line. It will also add weight to your vehicle which will increase traction.

Slow down. You need to be prepared for wet roads. It can take up four times as long to stop on wet roads. You can improve your traction by slowing down in wet weather.

Buckle up. In the event of an accident, your seatbelt will be the only thing holding you back. You can ensure your loved ones’ safety by reminding them of the importance of their safety belts.

Nothing says “Nothing” “true love”Like ensuring the safety of your loved ones behind the wheel.
