Lifetime will take viewers behind the scenes of the shocking crime stories that shocked the nation this summer.

Lifetime’s inaugural annual kicks off in June. “Summer of Secrets”Movie event — A slate of six original true crime movies featuring an all-star cast.

“Based on the success of our ‘Ripped from the Headlines’ slates, we are doubling down on what women love on Lifetime for our first annual Summer of Secrets slate,”Amy Winter is Lifetime’s executive vice-president and head of programming.

“These stories captured our collective attention and are the perfect kickoff to the summer with the stranger-than-fiction moments and revealing secrets that had everyone talking.”

Angie Harmon also joins the “Summer of Secrets”As the narrator, lineup “Cellmate Secrets,”Six-episode documentary series that provides new insights into the true-crime stories that inspired numerous Lifetime movies. The series is broadcast on Fridays. It features stories from ex-friends, former lovers, and prison guards about the criminals’ personalities.

“We know our audience devoured the stories when they were playing out in headlines, but now we can go even deeper to reveal more about those infamous stories,” Winter says.

The “Summer of Secrets”Starts June 5 “Gone Mom: The Disappearance of Jennifer Dulos,”Annabeth Geish stars (“The Haunting of Hill House”) and War- ren Christie (“Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce”. Based on Jennifer Dulos, a missing mother from Con- necticut who was murdered by her husband shortly after she was charged. He claimed innocence and the body of Jennifer Dulos was never found.

Other gripping titles debuting in June include “Secrets of a Gold Digger Killer,”As well as “Secrets of a Marine’s Wife,” “Doomsday Mom: The Lori Vallow Story.”

Next, it gets spicy. “Soccer Mom Madam,”Jana Kramer stars (“One Tree Hill”) as suburban mom Anna, who operates an elite escort service for New York power brokers.

Jennie Garth (“Beverly Hills, 90210”) and Anwen O’Driscoll (“American Gods”(Hit the headline “Left for Dead: The Ashley Reeves Story,”In which a 17 year-old girl is attacked, abandoned in the forest, and fights to survive.
