An increasing number of Americans are able to receive religious information online.

Pew Internet Research polled over 1,000 religious organisations in the early 2000s. It found that 83 per cent of them believed the internet had improved their congregation’s life. 63 per cent said that e mail helped them connect better with the surrounding community.
