Investors looking to make a mark in the global economy will find plenty of opportunities in today’s startup business environment.
Startups around the world will have the opportunity to meet and network with one another at the Global Startup Summit. This free online event is open to all.
Globalstartup.tv will stream the 7-day event online. Each day is dedicated for a different region and features three sessions with experts in tech-enabled businesses, a panel discussion discussing investment opportunities and consumer trends and pitches from two startup founders.
Global Startup Summit will focus on early-stage investment opportunities and global consumer trends. It will also discuss trends in technology adoption across all markets. Global Startup Media, a Virginia media company that covers the business of global startups, is one of the key themes.
The event will begin on February 18, 2019 with Africa Day. Next, there’s Europe Day (Feb. 19, Europe Day (20), US Opportunity Zone Day 21 (Feb. 21), Latin America Day 22 (Feb. 22, Middle East Day 23 (Feb. 23), Canada Day 24 (Feb. 24).
Global Startup Summit presenters include the World Bank (Africa Tech Roundup), Chinaccelerator (Middle East Venture Partners), and the World Bank.

These trends could manifest in startups in areas like audible computing (Alexa and Google Home), smart camera, consumer experiences, micromobility in cities (shared space) and micromobility.
