Deception Road is a film that will be produced in the summer 2019.

The story starts when Oscar (Wittrock), the protagonist, travels through the American Southwest. He takes a ride with Hal (Church), a haunted veteran of World War II. But all is not what it seems. A simple car ride is just the beginning of a complicated and mysterious journey. Oscar instead finds himself playing cat and mouse with Hal and Jessie (his beautiful young wife), and the situation becomes bizarre and dangerous. But there’s also a lot of dark humor. Jack Tynan rounds out the cast.

Wild Invention Pictures, George Parra, and Michael Goodin are producing the film. The film will be shot in Utah where the stunning scenery and mystery that unfolds provide the perfect backdrop. Max Mayer, who has credits including Adam and As Cool as I AM, will direct the film.
