After signing a new technology contract the Missouri School Boards’Association proved that outdated equipment was not the norm.

WhiteBlox, an online broadcasting company based in Houston, created the Education Global Solutions Network. This allows the MSBA to offer a variety of interactive video content to students and educators as well as athletes.

“Using interactive media players for online training is a terrific way to give students the freedom to complete courses on-demand and gives schools a way to create curriculums tailored to meet specific needs,”Greg Demetriades, WhiteBlox chairman and chief executive officers, said:

While some universities and businesses have been using online video broadcasting for many years, it may be difficult for budget-strapped schools to do so. With the advancements in Internet technology, online broadcasting is becoming more attractive and necessary for classroom use.

Schools can broadcast live or recorded programming using streaming video players. It includes anything from classes online to sporting events and outreach programs.

WhiteBlox’s customizable media player even allows for chat rooms to integrate within the player. This means that students, or entire classes could communicate while simultaneously viewing video content.
