Chick-fila wants people to feel inspired this holiday season by Chick-fila. hopeA new animated short film, and a digital experience are available to encourage people to connect and share words.
Chick-fil-A’s main character is featured in the film. 2019 animated holiday filmSam returns to her hometown to restore the spark that was lost. She discovers hope in herself. The main message of the film was that we all can make a difference by encouraging each other and making a difference.
Chick-fil A is encouraging people to send digital notes to family and friends this holiday season, with a message of love, gratitude, and kindness. It is free and can be sent by email or text.
“This year has been a tough one for a lot of people and has carried challenges and heartaches we never could have anticipated,” said Ashley Callahan, Chick-fil-A senior marketing director. “It’s also been a year of hopeful moments, where many have shined brightly, extending acts of kindness and generosity — many of which we’ve experienced firsthand through the actions of our guests, Team Members and others throughout our communities. Those small acts of kindness are the inspiration behind this year’s holiday film and digital experience.”
Small acts of encouragement, even virtual, can make all the difference in an uncertain year. In a recent Chick-fil-A survey*, 83 percent of respondents said small acts of kindness are encouraging and 76 percent say they want to be a source of encouragement to others.
Small acts of kindness can inspire a lot hope. This is one way that everyone can help spark some hope, no matter how far away they live.
