March is finally here. This year, March Madness. Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW), The Official Chicken Wing of March Madness is hosting a series of promotions in celebration of the NCAA basketball tournament’s return.
First, every overtime game has a chance to get free wings. Blazin’ Rewards members can qualify for Overtime Wingtime by simply checking-in at a BWW, or placing an order online via Blazin’ Rewards, on the day that a game moves to overtime. This must be done within 30 minutes. Blazin’ Rewards members will receive six boneless wings the next day if a game is declared OT.
“Sports fans have endured more than 700 long days without March Madness basketball, so this is one of the most anticipated tournaments ever,”Rita Patel is chief marketing officer at Buffalo Wild Wings.
“Even if your bracket was busted or your team was knocked out, you can still root for overtime –and that means free wings!”
BWW encourages fans to join its first-ever TikTok challenge for those who are social media-savvy. Inspired by the Dance Cam at sporting venues, the #BDubsDanceCam Challenge encourages fans to take off their dancing shoes and make a move for the camera. The #BDubsDanceCam has a filter effect that makes it rain chicken wings. During the tournament, selected videos will be shown on television screens at BWW bars.
Fans in Indianapolis will be able to enjoy a Blazin’ Challenge bracket competition where all 30 BWW bars will compete against each other to eat the most Blazin’ Carolina Reaper Wings.
The first round begins on March 19-122. Winners then proceed to the Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight and Final Four. The Champion game and the Final Four will be played this year. In addition, the winner will get a year’s supply free wings.
